| October 18, 2008 | The Congaree Flyers are
hosting the 6th Annual Jim Cecil Memorial Fly-In Saturday, October 18th is the day to come visit the Congaree Flyers. An AMA sanctioned fly-in will be held at the field in Gaston, SC. Please bring you AMA Membership card if you plan to fly. There will be a $10.00 landing fee which will include lunch for registered pilots. Please plan to attend a great day of fun, flying, and fellowship with others that share in an interest in RC flying. | March 22, 2008 | April Meeting Reminder!!! Our next meeting will be held April 1, 2008. the meeting will be held at Ryans on Charleston Hwy. Please plan to attend if possible. We will be eating at 6:00 and the actual meetin will begin at 7:00. As usual, please tell the cashier that you are with the Congaree Flyers and we look forward to seeing you there. |

| March 4, 2008 | We have a new hobby store in town. On March 24th, HobbyTown USA will open it's doors in the Publix shopping center on Two Notch Road in NE Columbia. The Grand Opening Event will be March 29th and 30th. | |
