| The Congaree Flyers is an AMA affiliated organization dedicated to the
advancement of Remote Control Aircraft of all types. You will find a wide range of
aircraft within our club: electric, glow, gas, bi-planes, jets, warbirds, trainers,
foamies, helicopters, etc. It is our desire that people have a place in and around
the Columbia, SC area to enjoy this great hobby. We have a great group of people
within this club. It is our hope that everyone have a great experience when entering this hobby. Therefore, we have several people who have volunteered to act as flight instructors for those just beginning to fly R/C aircraft. If you would like to come out and see what it is all about, please feel free to stop by. If you prefer, you may want to contact one of the officers to verify that there will be someone at the field to unlock the gate. The flying site is located at 600 Cassidy Road in Gaston, SC.
